The most harrowing stories can be hidden beneath a glamorous resume. Lolo Jones, who was the winner of the USA and the World Champion in the event of a hurdle in 2013, only reached this position by putting in a lot of hard work and a lot of patience. She was the only child of a single mom within a household of five children, Jones had a difficult and impoverished growing up. Her mother lived on the street and was even living in the cellar of a church in the area in the past. Jones her nomadic life forced her to change schools every year until high school.
